Updating outlook 2016 to 2016
So I'm the first, and only, person who has 1703 Creator's Update of Windows 10. Prior to installing the Creator's Update, all was well. Now, I get a generic "Connection of Microsoft Exchange is unavailable" error.Office 365 based installations get 2 additional fixes. Most notable fixes are: Note: This update can be installed via Microsoft Update or the Update Now button when you are using Office 365 and updates Outlook to version 16.0.4366.1000 (msi-based installation) or 16.0.6769.2015 (Office 365 based installation). The recommended configuration for Service Accounts within Outlook is to have the Service Account linked to your Net ID account and then to use the delegation feature to interact with the Service Account.Important: The 'User name' field may be pre-populated with your email address you entered the previous step.
Important: In addition to configuring your Net ID account, this document also contains instructions on how to configure a Service Account.
In that case, you can completely reset it by deleting the files making up the OAB or by recreating your mail profile.
Rather than waiting 24 hours for Outlook to update the Offline Address Book on its own, you can force an update via the Send/Receive menu button.
Autodiscover is correct, and the version of Outlook hasn't changed.
I'm curious if others have had this problem - if it's going to be a systemic issue until I can replace Exchange 2010, or if it's just something hosed on my system.
